Hey folks. Just a matter of interest, what do your partners think of your bus and bus life etc ? Are they supportive towards them with all that comes with it, do the like them as much as you or are they unsupportive and only put up with it ?..

At Skeg Vegas 2023 with our boxer dog, we'd been chatting to a couple with a dog in their slammed '68 bus.
My wife suggested why not look at getting a bay bus ready to use with more room for our dog, instead of the years & money involved in restoring our beetle.

I didn't need asking that twice.
The bus is loved by us both. It transforms days out at the beach or countryside, with food, rest & cuppa available after your walk. Having takeaways somewhere nice on sunny evenings instead of at home is a favourite. Fridge stocked with nice cold drink. We just love popping out in it, any excuse if the weathers dry.

She's even treat me to a bugtech shifter for my birthday next week.

Mines a veterinary nurse & animal behaviourist. Absolutely adores my bus, always wants to get involved with working on it, crewing when me & my mates go drag racing and has a tuned up 1960 bug of her own

My wife loves ours. In fact, any mention of selling it gets immediately dismissed by her.

Only thing is, absolutely no f**ks given about the maintenance etc. Not interested and just takes it for granted it’ll be ready to go come summertime. As she says, ‘it can’t be that hard as we rarely have any trouble with it’ .
