My parts book is not complete.

I have a '68 type 2 parts book i got off the web a couple of years back. When it turned up it had the first illustration in each section missing! Instead of sending it back the guy to give me a partial refund. Anyway, it would be great to get hold of copies of these missing pages. I wonder...

Thanks noddy Will have a look when i have a chance to see if they are there on my van, maybe volksheaven etc might have a bail clip.

    instrument cover speaker grill

Are there lugs on the underside of the cover plate that the bail clips fit into? If so, i'm guessing maybe that is the factory method.

    instrument cover speaker grill

Hmm interesting, i've just had a quick measure and it is possible modern 4" speakers may fit fixed in that way. Maybe even fit a coaxial speaker with a bit of packing round the bolts to hold it away from the grill. Are you sure its the original speaker, do you have the original radio still in...

    Our '70

hello, Had my van about 4 years now and thought i better post up a few pictures seeing as i spend so much time looking at everyone elses on here! Its a '70 panel van converted by Devon in about 1981 using the late bay moonraker set up, hence the double top roof.(not the best looking roof but it...

ta Jason Was it round or oval, how was it fixed in? Perhaps someone now makes a reasonable speaker that size.

    instrument cover speaker grill

Does anyone actually have a speaker under those holes in the instrument panel cover plate? If you do, what size is it and how is it fixed. I presume its one of those oblong/oval shaped numbers, but have never seen one. Grateful for any info. Stewart.

Wanted: not the usual sunvisor clip

Bristol volkfest is the best. Sunshine every year, loads of great vehicles, top atmosphere, autojumble...... Bingo  Not the usual sunvisor clip. :D :D :D :D If anyone has one of these they would like to get rid of, I am now after a spare. Stewart

Wanted: not the usual sunvisor clip

Don't quite know what you mean, Strongy. It's not the bracket at the outside ends of the visors. Its made of the same plastic as the one in your picture and is mounted at the rear view mirror end of the visor. I think maybe it's a panel van thing, Volkswagen probably made them with only one...

Wanted : The usual sunvisor clips :)

Sounds like your after the usual clip :!: They have 1 screw hole and and a locating lug, so there would be 2 holes in the van. All the parts houses do them: schofield, cool air (part no. T21-2018), vw heritage( part no. 111-587-561/ /581), status, C&C(part no. SO2135) etc etc etc, in white or...

Wanted: not the usual sunvisor clip

Thats the clip for the "swinging" type of sunvisor, im after the clip/bracket for the side that doesn't unclip. It hasn't got the slot that the little shaft in the visors clips into, instead the little shaft is part of the clip. I may try to put up a picture of the broken clip, if I can get...
