Hi, I'm just wondering if anyone has tried a hydraulic concentric clutch release bearing conversion. can it be done? is there a bearing available with the same pcd of the bearing slider tube in the type 2 gearbox? I know there would be problems at the other end as well but they shouldn't be to hard.

I've completed the rack conversion using the rose bearing joint, I first used a m12 joint which worked fine but looked a bit weedy compared to the rest of the steering gear so I've fitted am 16 joint instead and it looks a lot better. the steering works fine but I have not used it on the road yet.

thanks both, the panels are lhd "oem" from jk. re reversing them, yes I meant turning them upside down but after studying them for ages I could see that would be a load of work that would look crap, so I cut them to fit and will be using the offcut to extend the other panel with that long seam...

HI has anyone any experience of fitting new lhd cargo floor panels to a rhd bay? Im unsure whether to reverse them or cut and weld. reversing the pressings may look crap and cutting will involve a few very long welds, which may look crap. any thoughts please?
