    ignition - battery drain

    I have been having a problem with the van not starting. I have put another new battery in, but on occasions the van won't fire up. This happens mostly after a long journey of about 3 hours. I have a battery powere gauge and it's noticable that the battery drains down to 9v once I turn the key...

    Hi...well done for getting an early bay web site up and running. I own a 1970 & 1971 danbury conversion (although neither have original interiors) also a 1963 split crew cab (which is for sale if anyone is interested).
