remove cluster wire came off fuel sender where does it go?

got it, you can't see easily but there is a black wire there too, close inspection the yellow unconnected was my effort to get a ign feed to another area (radio) which I have unplugged for the moment :-/

remove cluster wire came off fuel sender where does it go?

Hi, My wires behind the cluster are a mess so I have decided now is the time to fix it. Properly. The plan to take pictures then rerun with new wiring, tidy it up, new clean feeds etc. But the first thing thats happened is I have undone the speedo and accidentally disconnected the wire at the...

    wanted - speedo with tripmeter

Maybe someone can help but I could do with one to record trips. I've got a perfectly good working MPH early bay speedo but no tripmeter so could swap as well with cash. MPH, and greyface. I read some posts they are common, others they are rare so no idea what to expect. Or is there a...

Leisure System & 240V hookup build

Just as an aside, to take it a tad further, I bought a 12v LCD display off of fleabay, was about 6 quid I think. I routed a couple of wires from each terminal of the LB up to the front of the van and affixed the LCD display there, gives me a quick reference as to how the LB is doing in the...

Leisure System & 240V hookup build

I found after a bit of trial and error that there is a durite split charge relay which does a slightly better job for around the same cost as a heavy duty relay and a smartcom. I found this out becuase I had a few probs with my smartcom unit, got through 2 so eventually spent a bit more on a...

    US connector outside plug

Hi, on the outside of my van is a US hookup socket, my bay is a US import. I am rewiring the internals completely to 12/240v but I want to keep this (pic attached) on the outside. So I am searching for the plug that goes into it with the right plug on the other end to plug into UK campsite...

Leisure System & 240V hookup build

thanks Guys, really useful info here. The diagrams are really useful. I think I am leaning towards setting up 12v LB system, then running a charger to the LB when hooked up, so LB continues to power the system but when hooked up its getting charged. will also get a 240v socket when hooked up...

Leisure System & 240V hookup build

Thanks, Your diagram makes sense, I ave looked at the step down. The hiccup seems to be how I isolate the LB 12v when I connect to the mains (i.e use the step down mains 240 to 12v power and not the LBy ) thats the bit that's difficult to overcome, i.e a current sensor switch or a manual switch...

Leisure System & 240V hookup build

Hi, yes I looked at yours, its another good (and bookmarked) diagram i am using. It was difficult to get the link to open, those flowers following the mouse maybe interfering but in the end I manually typed in the location of the image and got to it. On your fuse board bank, nos 1 to 8, you...

<<also added a switch or relay into the front on the diagram to switch essentials (light & 12V socket in front) to main battery if needed>> what switch/relay did you use for this (where did you get it from) Also it looks like you are running 12v always from the LB, so I guess you are charging...
