    Brake boost vac line

Thanks, If I need to keep the line at 10mm then my idea of "t" tapping the kadron cross over tube will not work. I am trying to hook this up with out having to tapp the manifolds.

    Brake boost vac line

I have been trying to figure out the right way tie my vacum line for the brake booster on my 71 after converting to dual carbs. I have read on hearing people tapping the manifold or T fit into the cross over tube on kadrons(what I am using). The question is does it make difference having to...

    Project 71 westy

Been awhile since I posted. I got the running gear sorted out and put some miles on her (Bertha) around town looking as below. A few days of city driving I decided to put Bertha on the freeway for the first time since I brought her home. Boy was she slow, even had her on a diet that day and...

Best stainless exhaust to fit tight under a 67 panel

Just installed the vintage speed sport set up on my westy, this is the best ground clearance and sound I have had from an exhaust. Very pleased as I took a gamble buying it because I have not seen one in my area before. I might be the first....

    Project 71 westy

I am not sure how low I can go yet. Pretty sure I need to mildly the notch rear for rough roads. The front I know I can MUCH lower since the beam is all the raised up at the moment. Right now my issue up front is tire size and wheel offset. The Fuchs are replicas and the back spacing is rather...

    Undercarriage cleaning

What have you guys found to work the best clean the undercarriage? I am dreading spending the weekend under the van with a wire wheel, any tips and tricks? Keeping in mind I don't have plans to blast the underside or a way to roll it on its side. It is going to have to be good old elbow grease.

    Project 71 westy

This past week I have been making the stance adjustments. Notched the rear plates. Pulled the front end to make way for the four inch narrowed adjustable beam with 2.5inch drop spindles. Mocked up the rear end.

    Project 71 westy

First picture post on the site, plenty more to come. Brought this home a few weeks ago. It is my first bay window. Took some time and buffed the paint out, made a nice difference. Also started to re work the vent windows, by far the biggest pain I have ever done. It was worth it...
