Yes it is, but the selector mech is not just the nose cone its also the gear carrier its a complete strip down so if you don't have the right tools its difficult I've done a few and it makes a really good box as the t25 box is stronger

there should be some fairly thick washers behind the flanges (a spacer washers) not to be confused with 091 boxes I can send you some spacer washers if they are missing, but I don't want to sell you the flanges if they are not needed, call me if you want any help 07923413538 by the way the post...

remove drive shaft bolts (6) prize out cover from the centre of g/box output flange, remove circlip withdraw flange, take off plastic cover plate (2 screws), remove oilseal and replace with new one, clean surrounding area and drain oil before you start, ( but you know that). best of luck

I did everything except balancing the conrods, its a 95 2.5 diesel (I just chose a big one) the copper gaskets were in some heads I picked up Ill have a look see if I got any more, the two hardest jobs are bending the exhaust manifold to fit the heads (they are wider apart due to the spacers)...

I am very pleased with my 1745, standard heads, polished a bit, standard conrods, releived on the bigend, standard pistons with the skirts clearanced, spacers under barrels, I did manage to get copper head spacers,(1mm) c/r 8.5/1, 4 into 1 exhaust. transit oil filter, pulls like a train, 70mph...

Its a straightforward job, drain oil, split the bellhousing, but it sounds like the retaining circlip has come off the shaft, the conecting gear slid along the shaft and the shaft has rotated, look for the circlip it may have damaged the diff teeth etc, hope for the best.

Yes you can the CE box 4th is .82. I understand Longenterprises do a .77, give BEARS a ring they will help.
