What colour should the roof/ bumpers be on a 71 bus? I have read pastel but also cloud white?? Any help would be much apriciated :)

Thanks for the advice :D Where did you get your replacement panel? Did you drill out the spot welds? Any further advice would be welcome. Not too sure how and where it is held in?

Can any one help with advice on this/ how hard it is? Is there a thread or how to? Just thinking about doing the drivers section as it has a little rust while the van is stripped down. Anything on battery trays also?? Thank you.

I have just taken my bumper and overriders apart and am missing the two spacers that go between the bumper and overriders. It looks like there should be x4 and I am missing the two longer ones. Can anyone help. Here is a photo of one of the shorter ones that goes underneath. Hope that makes sense?

The little eye where the wire goes to the door lock is broken, not sure if I need the whole assembly or just the lever? It's for the left hand side, 71 bus. Any help would be appreciated, almost ready for an mot then this happened :(

I think I may have an idea what the problem is. Would I be correct saying there is a spring missing here?? If so where can I obtain one?

Thanks Ballbag. Well the plan is to get it mot'd and then registered. There rear has been gutted, all the camping stuff is there but loose. I really want to get the inside ready for next year but a bit to do outside first. The roof had a few little stress cracks so glassed them up ( fibreglass...

My indicator stalk is a bit floppy and wondered if anyone had any advice on tightening it up? All indicators and high beam now work fine but it won't hold itself in the right/up flash position? Just the weight of the arm makes it drop back down?

After days of tinkering I finally sorted the lights out. I checked all the earths and just about everything else I could then fitted another light unit (one from my motorcycle) and everything is good :D Indicators now work both sides as the correct rate although the arm/stork is a bit floppy...
