My indicator stalk is a bit floppy and wondered if anyone had any advice on tightening it up? All indicators and high beam now work fine but it won't hold itself in the right/up flash position? Just the weight of the arm makes it drop back down?
Trikky2 said:It depends how handy you are with small stuff. If you take the switch out the housing you will see the switch is held in position by a couple of small pawls which are held against their respective posts by small springs.
If the pawls are worn it's possible to sharpen up their profile with a Dremel. If the springs are at fault or missing it's possible to re loop them or replace them with something about the same.
One wouldn't normally go to such lengths for a switch but replacements are expensive.
