Not got any sea legs.....so we usually drive the bus but the furthest we've got is Bordeaux/ Lacanau [or we fly and pick up a hire car and get an apartment.] We want to do Galithea, Madrid and Biarittz in the bus then drive home to Calais and the ferry makes sense but I've heard its pretty...

our bus came from Austria, basically the owner bought us a 'green' plate for exporting. It is a green number plate that the seller can purchase on your behalf at the post office...it is like an mot and insurance rolled into one....I think you get a week or so's insurance enabling you to drive it...

we've done 31,000 miles in our L8 bay since july 07.....or 50,000km, touchwood no breakdowns other than getting a push start 'little miss sunshine' style at Calais when our starter had overheated
