Any questions welcome..... ok let's start with where on earth did you pluck that figure from?

Question 3, I'd ask a little more if it's shiny lmao. They have taken the time to mention this how funny.

Surely it'll be worth that seeings as its the modern equivalent to the early bay

Jog on son ...

Wtf if they'd put it up for 45k what business is it of anyone else's I hate threads that assisinate some poor sods for sale ad.
It's a bit petty

Couldn't agree more.

OK, its a late bay, but its a bloody nice one, and it'll do somebody very proud for years to come.

I am not ashamed to say that had this been for sale two years ago I might have been tempted myself.

I know better now of course.

It's important not to become 'Internet tyre kickers ' lol... There is enough of them in real life :D

got to agree with Pinstriper im afraid and its open to offers so wouldnt make too big a deal about the asking price. We all love a slammed ratty bus on here but I would imagine the market for mint and shiny is a lot bigger these days.

i agree, thought we might have left some of these people behind....whats yours worth then? mine? same as this fella..you'll have yours for sale one day and you've left yourself wide open. hope he sell's for that now :x

Ok everybody is entitled to their opinion, and also to speculate, but my problem with this is that when people see that this one is up for 20k, they assume that theirs must be worth something similar. For example how often do we read "....... westy.....blah blah.....final price drop!" Some people don't like to hear it, but bays aren't worth what splitties are worth. It's a bit like the old "well Jamie Oliver had one and sold it for x amount".

Feel free to discuss, but I don't want an argument with anybody.

i do have to admit i have 2 bays in what we call o/g paint etc,and i think its had its day and fairly easy way out to leave as is... so its nice to see a well looked after shiney paint van,and to be fair to the bloke if he had it done up by a garage we all know its cost him more than 20k so he may be getting his figure from there. not right but we see the adverts on here without the nice paint and even rust we are proud of!! for 12/14k :?

Early, late, split, T25 og paint or shiny it'll sell for what someone is willing to pay, but IMHO it isn't clever to link someone's ad and start a negative thread about it.

Unless you are an interested party I can't see the point, good luck to anyone selling I say

Considering the price of brazilian camper conversions, it's not bad. Sadly, by the time i have finished restoring my 'rust free' westy (well the top half was rust free :x ) i will have spent not far off that

Hard to tell from the limited photo's but having just finished a full restoration...looks like a pretty good price to me.

 Alright everyone take a tissue, sorry for upsetting the apple cart. I personally don't like it and think its over priced, as for what mine is worth nowhere near that it needs some work, its not shiny, wouldn't get looked at twice at a show, mostly stock. the seats are ripped, the roof is dinted, there's play in the steering and loads of other stuff but here's the thing.........i know all these things and if i ever come to selling it i would let people know and would ask a realistic price, just because the guy has spent a fortune on it doesn't necessarily mean its worth more.
