it can be downloaded, cant remember how i found it but its something like doing a search for one of the writers (there's a link around there somewhere) to some other online writings or signing up to a news letter and its there. its easier to do than how i have just explained it :lol:

i need another door (o/s) so my question is, what other year doors would fit my 6/71 bus?

ive just brought a new horse shoe plate kit (not fitted them yet) and the bolts ive got are 22mm spanner head, 50mm long thread.

im sure someone with knowledge will come along shortly to enlighten you but my plate is behind the nearside front seat, riveted to the bulkhead.

thanks guys for the advice. think i'll give it a miss, the door isnt that good so dont think it worth the hassle to modify. just have to keep looking.

do you know if i'll be able to transfer everything (locking mechanism) from the '71 to the '68 ?

will a '68 door (drivers) fit a '71 bay? the hinges seem to measure up the same.
