hi earlybayers.. this is my first vw bus/camper (1971 devon) and i only owned it for 1.5 days.... loving it so much, cant leave it alone - any excuse to take it out :mrgreen: anyway as i am such a new 'early bayer' driver i'm not 100% sure on how they should handle etc... I have noticed there...

sorted it :lol: un-did thos three bolts to free up the door locking mechanism - worked out that the mechanism had sort of sunk down and just needed pushing up while screwing back on... i love how simple old volkswagon stuff is.. although i know i will eat those words pretty soon! covered it all...
