    Interior options

I used to have a Vanworx interior with fold down cooker and a sink unit by the sliding door, but we hardly ever used the sink and it blocks off so much space too. Last year I had All Things Timber do me a unit and footstool/buddy seat to go with a full width bed. It has a cooker and fridge as we...

    Small amount of restoration...

I agree with Sparky, tombstones are not for anyone of a large frame as they are quite tight. I love mine and find them extremely comfy. Welcome to try if you're up North at all! Cheers Al

    Show me your seats! (Please)

Bay-buster....I did something very similar to you but carried the box section across the walkthrough to the other tub as I've now filled the walkthrough with a leisure battery and electrics! Swivel seat has to be one of the best mods I've done as it opens up the interior and just seems to make...

    Monty the Red Campervan

As for solar panels...I got a flexi one and have bonded it to the pop-top. So far it's been working perfectly and leaves the rack for packing gear onto. Wired through a 3-way charger system that does it all automatically...solar, hook-up or alternator...job sorted, cider cold! Cheers Al

    Ultimate Engineering - Any reviews

I had exactly that problem, but seem to have made the golf calipers work on red9 brackets with some grinding of the caliper...handbrake now works! Apart from that I have got other conversion bits of Ultimate and would have got their brakes if I had a time machine. Tim's a decent bloke to deal...

    Role Call !!!

Hello from sunny Cheshire! All well here, thankfully. I'm still working but it's quiet...IT hardware...but I've worked from home for a company down south for the last 8 years, so this is same old for me but without being able to nip out anywhere! It is odd having my wife and daughter at home all...

    Rear disc conversion calipers

Can’t agree more, just not up to the job and I’m fed up of forever adjusting and carrying chocks around with me! Can you please tell me what model of golf calipers you used and what’s a line lock? Cheers They are standard Mk4 Golf calipers and carriers...for solid disc rear ends. Line locks...

    Rear disc conversion calipers

I've just converted my Red9 rears to Golf ones as I was so pissed with the handbrake! (I have a line lock added to the rears for my handbrake to assist them!) I've had to clearance the calipers a bit and shim the bracket but they fit...I think! Only turned around in the drive and parked back in...

Fitted Power Steering - What a difference!

Nicely done. I fiited the Lite-steer version to mine recently and it really has transformed the bus into a very easy thing to drive. The Tdi engine and cable change gearshift helps a bit too :msn4:

    Brazilian Brake Servo

I fitted one 8+ years ago and it's still working just fine...hopefully not cursed it now! I think you just have to elongate the mounting holes, nothing too taxing...not sure as was too long ago. Cheers Al

    Steering Column Outer Tube

Hi Bob, 49cms long, but includes the bottom that has a hole and cut out, so really 47 ish that's usable. Only issue you'll encounter if it's for the top is the top usually has a slight bulge where the indicator sits and you'd need to make a cut out for the ignition lock. That aside I could have...

    Steering Column Outer Tube

Hi, Not sure it'll be much use, but I have the bottom part...cut the top off for my power steering! Cheers Al

    Small amount of restoration...

You can buy seatbelt extenders... I have them on my rear seat so the buckle sits in the seat and not in the join of the seat base and back. JK and places sell them I believe Cheers Al
