    Tow hitches

If you look under your bus at the side of the rear chassis rails under the battery trays there's are 3 captive M10 nuts that are used to mount the towbar to the end of the chassis so it uses these and the original bumper mounts, we have one supplied by Jeffrey at bus.ok and it's very similar to...

    Sliding door hinge

Always worth checking other suppliers as these parts are all made by the same company and bought by all the suppliers so you are likely to be buying the same part even off eBay for parts like this but we would recommend Schofield's, they tend to stock quality over quantity.

    Sliding door hinge

Quite common these days, JK seem to have hiked lots of prices in comparison to other sellers, we use Schofields all the time these days.

    Ben's 72 Bay

Not being funny but I hope you didn't let him touch your twin carbs, he claims to be the expert on ICT34's but all his source material is from people on this forum and JK forum (but he says its his own research), his knowledge of other twin carbs is limited and will tell you, you don't need to...

    Volksworld Show 18-19 March 2023

From a small traders perspective Volksworld just isnt good value and hard to recover your costs for the weekend, when we traded down in the Esher Hall for 3 years it was nearly £800 for a 4m x 2m stand, by the time you had got down there (often with 2 vehicles) and set up on the Friday (day...

    U-pol raptor

We've used it on both of our last personal builds and highly recommend it , best to get the tintable version and then you just add 100ml (from memory) of body colour, best applied using a shultz gun and compressor and the output rate of the the compressor has an effect on the finished look...

    Replace floor in my Westy

As above the reason it's a double thickness is to level the floor out, where the inner sills sit is higher than the load floor itself and will cause you issues if your do it as a single piece, 9mm and 6mm ply is what you need but to get it out of a sheet of 8x4 the joins will show, it's ok if...

Running height really shouldn't dictate size of tyre you need to keep the rolling radius as close to stock as possible, if on 15's a minimum 185/65/15 but ideally 195/65/15.

    Starting Issue

Unlikely to be fuses, sound like a break in the main feed like sparky suggested, if you can get underneath the first place to look is at the starter motor, check the 13mm nut is tight as that acts as a junction box for the power going forward, after that it goes to the light switch, ignition...

Fuel Sender Tube needed or dimensions

Never seen one fall off in the tank before but they are only either held on by a very small nut or sometimes a slide clip so possible.

For my next problem - throttle cable

Simplest was to do that is to pass a piece of wire through from the engine bay side (straightened coat hanger or similar, tape the cable to it and pull through, doesnt need much tape, done it loads of times. Don't over complicate it. We always use the Empi universal one and never had any issues...

    Progress Pics - Dormobile X-Over

Good cheap fix Jason, the indicator stalks on bay windows (like lots of parts) were not expected to last 50 years plus so can be a bit fragile at times, well done(y)

    Reducing interior weight.

As above I would weigh what you already have and compare the weight to a sheet of the new material, I'm not sure you are going to gain much better fuel consumption as thats down to the design of the engine, don't expect a huge change.
