    roof ladder?

I bought one of these a while back, had to sell it on as it rested on the centreline bulge, which don't work on a deluxe, but he's a top guy, recommended. Must go back and get a modded one to suit.

Is this a good offset wheel combo

Thats what i thought, but had seen ETs like this where folk have said its good, 21mm seems quite a bit though??? I have dropped spindles and the track is already increased.... Think it's about 20mm. Not sure that's a great look together, but not bothered about fitting a narrowed bean

Is this a good offset wheel combo

I've never entirely understood offsets, but is a set of 5.5 15inch wheels with an ET of +21 a good combo for a mildly lowered EB (2.5 drop @ front, one spline @ rear)

    VW doesn't do Accidental Engineering

I must say, I have a lot of sympathy with this rant after a couple of engines died, i decided the time had come to get one that would last, not just any old jobbie that came along for some reason the guy fitting it decided that VW hadn't supplied enough cooling, and cut vents inside the rear...

Soft alloy rivets – as used in Creative Westy repo roofracks

I’m hoping someone can help me with this query. I’m looking for one soft aluminium rivet, as used on the Creative Engineering westy repro roofracks. Afraid I don’t know the exact size, though diameter is about 1/8 inch and length just over 1 inch. I have searched the web and hardware...

Want your bus graffitied by a pro?

just to provide some balance, I looked for some pics of the graff that was done at Harewood a few years back, and couldn't find any.... but the standard appears to have gone up significantly, so my remarks are clearly out of date, check it: http://www.vwfestival.co.uk/stands_graffiti.php

Want your bus graffitied by a pro?

Nice graff, I must confess I didn't expect it. Last time I saw graff on vws it was seriously poor, I would have been furious to have some muppet do that to my van (it was at harewood vw festival btw) But I reckon that's a cool way to make your bus standout. In a weak moment I considered selling...

Sad sad day. To sell or not to sell, that is the question.

the good thing is that bays are so overpriced, you'll probably get good money for it, with or without MOT A friend just bought a rock solid Citroen H van, the earliest in the UK, and it only cost £4k vw's are more style than substance, and i say that as a style over substance man everytime...

    JK sun canopy

 well JK have certainly dropped their prices then, it was £100 when i bought it, and I could have sworn it was £100 when i originally posted 25 squid then

Sad sad day. To sell or not to sell, that is the question.

Tricky one, it's something lots of us struggle with. I used to have this hassle about 15 years ago. ditched my rusty van, then bought a new one without rust when i could afford it again (about 9 years ago), not that I'm saying this is what you should do, but really the vw lifestyle is largely in...
