    Pembrokeshire campsites

We're struggling to find an old fashioned family campsite in Pembrokeshire. No problem finding "Holiday Parks", and "Yurt/Glamping sites" - but struggling to find an "ordinary" campsite with basic facilities..... Can anyone recommend one - ideally near Manorbier/Tenby....?

    Gear lever bushes

I replaced mine (1968) without taking engine/GB out. I am no mechanic and have no special tools (or skills) and did it on garage floor It was a while ago and I forget details, but jist of it was undoing nuts/bolts at gearstick end, undoing universal joint at GB. The rod between these two...

    Carole Nash Cancellation Charge

....they have to cancel your (old) insurance if you've sold the bus. There was a scam a few years back where crooks would buy a car - insure it with multiple companies, crash the car, and make multiple claims for same damage... Clever crime - no one to complain or make a fuss - but they got...

FIRST FAMILY CAMPER - POP TOP, TIN TOP OR HIGH TOP?

oddly you'll find Westie owners prefering Westies and Dormobile owners preferring Dormies.... You're best off going to a show and looking at buses and talking to owners... Being a Dormie owner I'd say the benefits of a Dormobile are glass windows in roof, making lighter interior, and having a...

    Condensation

This is off topic, but sort of related. A mate of mine fitted to his house a fan that gently pumps air from loft into house. This has result of no condensation at all on inside of windows. Works by having a slight positive pressure inside, so no draughts enter house to bring in cold/damp air...

    Tools Needed To Remove Wheels

If you want to get to the rear brakes you need to remove the wheel nuts and wheels - which should be OK with a normal socket set. The problem may be removing the big castellated nut on the axle which you will probably need to remove as well, depending on age of bus These are on very tight...

Oil Temperature sensor/gauge - Thoughts please?

We have a "save my bug" sensor, takes 30 seconds to fit, with no cutting or fitting new wires etc. It's only ever activated a couple of times when driving up mountains in second gear in Spain and it worked a treat For the price and ease to fit it's an excellent bit of kit.

    Indicator Switch Wiring

Simshaz, Did you keep the old unrepairable one. I am looking for one as a model to see if it is possible to make the small "circuit board" that the acts as the base contact, that seems to be the bit that wears out. My switch is is on the way out, but still works so don't want to experiment...

    Original front seat installation

That's probably the best idea - the seat doesn't actually rest directly against the bulkhead, it rests against the oven frame then the bulkhead. So even with the bulkhead you would have to "fill" the gap between seat and bulkhead - or install oven....(OG Dormobile passenger seat would have...
