I have checked my front wheels roughly with a spirit level (we are away in Holland so have limited resources) and both front wheels definitely have positive camber so I believe this is causing the outside scrub we are getting.

Totally agree, our bus had MGF seats fitted when we purchased it, they fitted fine but you sit higher in the cab, the top of the windscreen was only just above eye height. Luckily the original seats came with it and we refurbed them and recovered them and they are comfy and much better driving...

I am curious, I see a lot of buses with narrowed front beams, do people do it because they like the look / stance? Is there any driving or handling benefits from narrowing as in my mind I think it would make the drive less stable?

I am not sure to be honest, all I know is that it was fitted with a new Transporterhaus beam to create the drop, would it also of had flipped spindles? Does that sound stupid?

Replaced split pins twice as it sounded like that was the noise, it wasn’t. It was the hub caps - I too did not believe it, it didn’t seem possible that it could be just the caps but it definitely was and we went through everything else first.
