OK - cheers for the help. Managed to fit the new cable. Only bit I was unsure about was where the cable exited the solid tube at the rear near gearbox and then ran up to the back of the fan housing. I couldn't see any if this & did it blind by just feeling around, but it sounds like I'm missing...

Hi, Just had my accelerator cable snap at the hook bit where it attaches to the pedal linkage. Access is a bit tight - Haven't got much room around sides of van - and it backs onto a drive with steepish incline. But can get under front. So, fitting a new cable... I've read a few posts about...

Hi Clem, My tickets arrived today - Was in West field last year, but this year got East field family camping (didn't specifically select family camping but must have been the only tickets left in East field). Is that area usually at the top of the so-called Hill of Death? Cheers, Steve

Did they just screw straight into the existing holes in your bay?

Anyone camped in their van in the East field before? What's it like? Is it on a hill? Did the West last year & after the rain was a nightmare for some getting out.

From the above links , any idea what size screw and cup washer can be used to attach 4mm ply to use the existing holes? (I.e. the existing holes that the original interior panel clips inserted into) Cheers.

Just had my Bay serviced today at Aircooled Performance/KC's Hotrod and Race Shop, in Billingham. Top job, nice people and would highly recommend them for any engine/service work if you are based around North East/Yorkshire. They managed to fit me in at short notice despite all the work...

Hi, Is there a standard or size for rubber oil hose used on full flow systems? Just had the hose from the case to my remote cooler split (looks like it had been rubbing against the heat exchanger) and looking to order a replacement. I know the existing hose fitted by previous owner is about...

Not sure as they were fitted on my bus (which is lowered with dropped spindles if that makes any difference) by the previous owner.

Not sure - but previously had them fitted on my 69 bay with no problems.
