    Headlamp question

I have Hella H4U 12v 60/55W P43t bulbs fitted to my bus headlamps. The bulbs have a matt black coating on the end of the glass. Has anyone removed the 3 legged reflector plate from the inside of their headlamps when using these type of bulbs? Thanks.

Engine assembly: 87 mm barrels with EMPI heads

Hi. Your bore and crank size gives 1641 cc's. With a deck height of 3mm the compression ratio is 6.6, the 3.5mm it is 6.4 To get a compression ratio of 7.5 you need to make the deck height 1.36mm

As Sparkywig says, bleed nipples at the top.

    Brake Pedal Low Pressure

This might sound stupid, but have you got each calliper on the correct side ie with the bleed nipple on the top. I don't know if it is possible to get them the wrong way round, but I did once when I built a kit car a few years ago.

    Fitting twin carb back in

Looks like you have the bus jacked up at the rear as the gearbox looks low. Once you have got the engine past the mounting posts you can raise it up and the manifolds will go past the side tins. However you will also need to jack the gearbox up to meet the engine before you can join them.

    Huco fuel pump

This pump is a pull pump. I was having over fuelling problems with my twin ICT's and this pump is rated at 2.1 (ish) PSI. Also did not want to mess around with shortening the mech fuel pump pushrod.

Huco fuel pump with relay and inertia switch fitted to my van. Yet to determine how the inertia switch will react to speed bumps, pot holes etc.
