remove cluster wire came off fuel sender where does it go?

If the top wire on the gauge is brown that one should be earth and the yellow wire should go to the fuel tank sender. However, should be easy enough to test each wire with a multimeter one should be a short to earth and the other should be open or some resistance depending on the amount of fuel...

    What Camshaft?

Thanks Abel. I forgot to mention I am using a CSP Bellcrank link on the carbs and a 4 into 1 exhaust. I won't be ditching the heads just yet (cost me a lot of money last year) they are running long reach spark plugs and have 54 cc chambers. I did notice a big increase in torque and...

    What Camshaft?

Abel, thanks for your input. How heavy is your Bus? Not sure, its a standard Dormobile early bay with lightweight furniture and 3/4 rock n roll bed (no spare wheel). What is your cruising speed on motorway? 60 - 65 At what revs do you normally change gears? Between 2k / 3k depending on engine...

    Front shocks

Thanks. Already got commercial tyres, will play about with pressures. Also will probably go down the uprated anti-roll bar route.

    Front shocks

What's the consensus on fitting coil over shocks to the front suspension of a camper? My bus wallows a lot in cornering.

    Oil relief screw thread

Discovered it is 18x1.5. Fitted one of these, a lot easier than the old VW slotted one:

    Electric fuel pump relay diagram

I am thinking about installing an electric fuel pump (huco-low-pressure-12v-fuel-pump-133010). I realise that I need a relay to control the power to the pump. Does anyone have a diagram (and part numbers) to show how to do this including the function of cutting power to the pump if the engine...

    One sweep wiper button

I have fitted one of those intermittent wiper modules, along with replacing the vacuum wash with an electric one. All in the original switch. Works great.

    Driveshafts

Thanks for the replies, but I meant rotational play, how much is too much?

    Driveshafts

Had the bus gearbox out to change the driveshaft oil seals. On reinstalling I notice there is some side to side play in the driveshafts. Question is, how much side to side play should there be on the driveshaft? Also If I have to replace, anyone had any experience of these...

    Engine Oil Pressure Gauge

Thanks Raveboy. Do you have part numbers or where you got the items from?

    Spark Plugs

Has anyone fitted "Autolinea CB 044" heads. If so what spark plugs have you used. I have just bought a pair of these heads from Machine 7, they recommend "Ngk DP8EA-9" but I have heard that they may be too cold. My engine is 1776 with twin ICT carbs, so not a race machine by any imagination...

    Engine Oil Pressure Gauge

I already have an electric one in the cab, but not sure how accurate it is. I wanted to fit a mechanical one on an adaptor from the existing outlet to see what the actual pressure is.

    Hoover bit

As my engine is out of the bus and in pieces I thought I would add the Hoover bit except that its £25 on the interweb thing. So I decided to make my own. First one I made to the dimensions from a link on here, turns out to be massively too big. Mk 2 to my dimensions:
