The rubber spacers that support the rear of the roofrack section; does anyone know where I can buy them? I'm sure something could be bodged from the doorstop dept at B&Q but wonder if there is an easier way?

The EBI thread, (fantastic pics btw, thank you to the snappers), has got me thinking about our forthcoming summer hols. Which is easier in a lowered bus; ferry or tunnel? My main concern is ground clearance on the ramps on and off, but any other top tips and handy hints gladly accepted. It's on...

Thanks, but I'm looking for something a little more at the economy end of the market. Hopefully this is just to get me through the summer; if the engine plans come to fruition next winter then the 'box will be getting changed then anyway.

Apparently the 'box that my bus arrived from the states with might be a bit graunchy. Has anyone got a 1600 gearbox going spare that they know is OK? It needs to be available now as hopefully the engine will be going back in at the end of the week; if I haven't got one by then I'll suck it and...

I'm hoping to avoid this order to give the option of going back to stock if required in the future.

Cool, got 175/65 R14s going on so only another 3mm or so of sidewall. The bus has got some gasadjust shocks on atm, I'll see how they work out and be prepared for a trip to GSF. Thanks for the info.
