Did you cross on the ferry? I'm getting twitchy about getting on now, I'm pretty low and have a bluebird SS exhaust that's about 6" off the ground at the rear......any thoughts?

Try the obvious first. Is your accelerator cable too tight? Try disconnecting it and see if that helps. If not try dissconnecting the choke, or perhaps adjust your idle using the 'volume' adjust screw on the carb give these a go first and see how you go.
