How does it ride? Do you need shorter shocks? I might have to go that route!

    My new 69 crewcab.

Welding looks right! I reckon a few hours of messing about and you get into the swing of it - I've not got that far yet so mine still looks like *****! haha. Love your bus - the signwriting is cracking.

    71 bay lowering

Apologies if this has been done to death, I've read about 8 million lowering articles and looked at every available option but I'm just confusing myself. Mine's a 71 bay so do I need specific dropped spindles for my calipers? and the spring plates seem to cross over the 71 period so not sure...

    1971 Deluxe Import - A blank canvas

Got it wired up and working, need to find a proper home for it rather than perched behind the ashtray! It comes with a remote so it can stay tucked away.

    1971 Deluxe Import - A blank canvas

Had a spare half hour at work today so popped some small speakers in a temp location on the dash - If my amp/speaker set up works how I hope then I'll find somewhere more permanent - it'll do for now. I've got a £12 ebay cheapy 12v mini amp with USB/Aux, powering a couple of 4 in pioneer...

Stuck Inlet Valve on Cylinder Head - Assistance requested

Not sure how far away you are but there's a guy just up by Doncaster in Bentley called Headmasters - He's a complete wizard with head work and last time I had something done I remember wondering if he's had a price increase in the last 20 years, absolute peanuts compared to the other firms local...

    1971 Deluxe Import - A blank canvas

Fitted the bed today, will pull it out to clean and trim the rear section but wanted to get it fitted up. It's a volkswares bed and had it not been a great deal I'd have gone for a Rusty Lee. I found that fitting wasn't exactly intuitive, I put the brackets on the back the other way round to...

    Bert, my 70 deluxe adventurewagen

I'm going to get rid of my opening quarterlights, the cost of the seals and the headache involved in fitting them I'm just going to take the wimps way out and fit solid windows, maybe a sliding window on the one opposite the sliding door. Yours are looking great!

    Rear seat belts

Hi Rick, there's a guy on The Late Bay that sells a bracket to give the 3 point belt the proper angles to fit over the R+R bed - I've got a little one and planning on buying a pair so I can have 2 3 point belts in the rear. There's Herbie Hospital in Leeds for fitting, or maybe the Brick Yard...

    Reg Plate Placement?

As above - mine currently resides in the front window but I have a bracket for the front bumper. I wouldn't want to use adhesive or screws on the front panel if I could avoid it!
