Got lights from another eb member, new gearshifter (given by my mate) certainly is a better more positive experience now.
New seals for Windows in progress.
Seats off for upholstering hopefully back next week.

Starting to look like a camper!

Finally got steering box off! Sending to graham at midland early bay for refurb hopefully will get it back soon and my steering clunk will have gone :)

Started lining the metal inside with perforated vinyl before refitting windows at the weekend, pretty pleased with result considering I never done it before :)

Looks good! Hoping to get my windows out to do the vinyl/headlining at some point - Looks a tricky job!

Thanks Georgeyv, I've made a few mistakes but got the hang of it now (I think), got the vinyl for 45 quid for 4.5m2 so can afford s few small mistakes. Not looking forward to fitting Windows tho.

Back end done.
And managed to fit new seals to rear quarterlights, what a pain in the ass!

Finally managed to get both quarterlights in and the new seals, rear one was a complete bugger! Couldn't fit the deluxe trim before and hoping I can do it with the window fitted or I've dropped a right clanger!

Only 4 more Windows to do, electrics are finally sorted so dash and can area is starting to look like something I can drive.

I'm going to get rid of my opening quarterlights, the cost of the seals and the headache involved in fitting them I'm just going to take the wimps way out and fit solid windows, maybe a sliding window on the one opposite the sliding door.

Yours are looking great!

Thanks pal, the quarterlights weren't too bad to put new seals in, the rear window was a right pain.

Got drivers seat back from upholsterers today and it's very comfy!

Picked up refurbed steering box, all steers lovely now :) thanks to graham at midland early bay.
Took to test centre and failed lol. Brakes passed but the balance between 2 sides way off, so ordering new brake parts so can re test Monday.
First time I've drove him and didn't stop smiling all the way to the test centre.

Finally removed rear hub nuts to sort out new shoes, now feels loads better! Re test at 8:30 in the morning and hopefully will be on the road :)

Been beavering away lining and fitting new window seals, interior now something like, fitted top locker (not an easy task!), still waiting for dvla for registration plate :([URL=http://s935.photobucket.com/user/Marshy1975/media/Mobile%20Uploads/image_zpsjcuzdwkb.jpeg.html]

Looks amazing! I might have to come have a look round it when I'm going down the M1 sometime!

Just under a week and a half and v5 doc has come! Bert is also know now as TTU947H :)

Been busy today too refitting Windows (weather didn't help!) and missus started with the door cards in the rear, have to admit she's done a cracking job!
