    Back-in-the-day stickers

Was going through a box of my old crap from my Mum's (only moved out 20 years ago so it hasn't taken too long!) and found this Croyde Bay sticker! Must've picked it up at an early 90s Bug Jam or Beetle Bash. Funny thing is I owned a Beetle then so no idea why I bought a Camper sticker! Anyone...

    Bouncy speedo

Morning My speedo reading is jumping all over the place at low speed. Once the bus reaches about 50 it sorts itself out and gives a steady reading. It's had a new cable put in so I'm not sure what the problem could be. Has anyone experienced this before and did you manage to get it sorted...

Money burning a hole in my pocket (not!)

Slammage will be the last job as it needs work underneath! I think a fiddle with the engine and brakes is in order! Good advice everyone!

Money burning a hole in my pocket (not!)

Right, I'm up early with the little one as the Mrs is ill in bed and I'm gazing out the window at the Camper thinking what could I spend my daughter's college fund on? So here's my question: Assuming the boring stuff like chassis and bodywork is sorted (it's not but let's just imagine it is!)...

Very helpful as always! Thanks everyone! :D

    Stupid primer question!

I'm planning to get physical with body rust this winter and will be patching up with primer. Is primer on its own ok or will the bodywork rust through? I can't help thinking primer doesn't provide a waterproof coating and will need top coating. Any ideas?

    Early bay body panels

I asked this question a few weeks ago and was told http://www.fbivw.com" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; in Swansea. Haven't got round to using them yet but their website looks to have a decent amount of old parts in good nick!

    Nice rack!

I like gvee's answer the best!! :D :D :D So there's no hidden meaning in whether your rack is at the front or the back, y'know like with which ear you have pierced???

    Nice rack!

How do people get stuff in and out of their racks?? I have one but it's not fitted it yet.I could see how you could stand on the cab step if it's at the front but how d'you get to it when it's at the back!! :?: :?: (Which begs another question: rack on the front or the back of the roof!??)...

    Cab doors: cheapness v quality

I need a couple of doors for my '70 Bay and have been comparing prices on JustKampers, my question is this; are Brazilian made doors (the ones I can happily afford!) really that bad compared to the more expensive ones that would hurt my wallet? Any experiences? Opinions? Cheers!!

    My new Bay

It's just back from the mechanic and will need some pennies spent underneath to make it a happy camper (no surprises there then!) First task is to dismantle the Danbury interior and give it a refurbish. Will post some pics this weekend!
