Has anyone got any of the following they don't want 165/65 R14 x 2 185/65 R14 x 2 (Or slightly larger) Don't think I will get standard rear tyres on the van as the horseshoe plates limit the tyre size. I am in Herts so anything close would be great.

I wanted to when travelling around Europe in the van but they way we were heading it was either Nurburg or Wolfsburg and Wolfsburg won

I found the best thing to do was to cut strips out of a beer can and use them. Worked better than the clips provided.

Pretty sure auto renewal is fairly common now, certainly is on modern vehicles / insurance companies. On the plus side if you don't receive the letters in the post etc you will still be insured and not pulled over by the police.

As above really, anyone got any spare shims for the alternator they don't want?

I test fitted the rear top pulley with the woodruff key and it rubbed straight away. Didn't go any further with fitting the shims as Is far as I understand when the rear part of the top pulley is on correctly it can only go so far as the lip on the shaft stops it going any further?

Has anyone had to use a spacer to move the pulley a few mm away from the alternator housing to stop it grinding? I was having a problem with this happening so sent my alternator off to be repair. Had a new shaft fitted and new bearings etc. Got it back and when went to fit it the pulley wheel...

I believe F6 are the ones you want.
