    Feel your pain! had exactly the same on mine, but im glad i took the pans off to check. Once its done you know its solid. Will you do it yourself or get someone to do it?

    Loom Conduit

    Good idea! just had a look online and its cheap as chips + looks like you can get a gland that glues on with a thread in the end that i can then use to attach it to the sheet metal. looks like i will be able to make a neat job of it. Thanks for the idea :D

    Any ideas what i can do with this without cutting/disconnecting the loom? the front few inches of the conduit that carries the loom along the chassis rail has totally rusted away, you can just see the end in the picture on the right hand side. I am nearly finished the chassis repairs now and...

    Hi Bigbear i have just looked this up in the Bentley Manual. If you have a manual its section 6 page 29 and it describes it as Guide bush i would post a pic but cant at the moment. But it is fitted inside the nose cone. Woz

    Yes if you remove the nose cone and then look at the back of it where the hockey stick comes through I think that's where it goes. Might be an idea to wait for a pro to confirm this as you will need a new gasket if you take it off. If you do take it off change the ball on the end of the stick...
