Any ideas what i can do with this without cutting/disconnecting the loom? the front few inches of the conduit that carries the loom along the chassis rail has totally rusted away, you can just see the end in the picture on the right hand side.

I am nearly finished the chassis repairs now and Just wondered if anyone can think of a quickish fix.

Split some plastic flexible conduit & snap over it ?

Good idea! just had a look online and its cheap as chips + looks like you can get a gland that glues on with a thread in the end that i can then use to attach it to the sheet metal.

looks like i will be able to make a neat job of it.

No probs, elec wholesalers & even screwfix probably sell it too
