I have a full set of 4 early beetle wheels for sale. They are 4J x 15 in wide 5.
I bought these from kinky micks and ran them for a bit but decided to go for something different.
They are straight with no dents - obviously they are bit ratty at the moment, but you could get them blasted and...

I've built a 1915 engine for my van. I built it for torque not bhp particularly and it so driveable :)
Just got back from a trip down into France and back after breaking it in - ran lovely which was a relief as its the first engine i've built from...
Thought i'd post a few new images as its a been a while!
We got the ferry over to France a couple of weeks ago and travelled down with temperatures 36C in the shade - nice!
I think i took everything possible with in regards to spares - even the trolley jack, but the van ran sweet as a nut all...
Currently in France - 35 degrees in the shade...
Cruising a 65 ish for an hour or two and temps starting to hit 100/105 - on a hill I have to drop to 55 to keep temps down.
Never known it so hot in my life so probably exceptional circumstances!
Have loads more power there aswell which I can't...
Anyone runnign 185/80/15 s on the back of their bus and got a pic?
Thinking of putting a pair on the rear of mine, but wouldn't mind seeing how they would look. Got a very torquey engine and hope to drop the high end rpm a little.
No worries! I have a bit of mix and match - a late split k and lp beam, bay dual master cylinder, stock rear drums anbd csp front discs,
I think i'll get hold of a second hand 944 servo off ebay and offer it up to see how it could fit.

Has anyone managed to fit a brake servo from late bay into an earlybay?
I have CSP front brakes but like the idea of getting them better still if possible.

Does anyone know of a company who provides steering rack conversion parts/kit for the early bay? Or possibly does a service where they convert your bay to rack and pinion?
I know red 9 include it in there whole front end kit, but i'm only interested in the steering part!
