The van was a good price and always planned to sort everything out but get it on the road first. But may aswell do job lot before i spray it all but wondered if need buy jacking paints or not

Hi all Has any one managed to replace the inner middle and outter sill with out replacing the jacking points also? The jacking points are solid as a rock but if they need to be removed I'll whip them out. But if it's possible to do it with out I won't need to buy them. Cheers Dave

Does any one have an early westy roof off the van at the mo? Going to try and rebuild mine but theres no wood inside the roof were it should be fibreglassed. Cheers Dave

Cheers jon I might give it a go. I did wonder how it all attached didn't know if it was glued on. Are the bits of wood front and back curved to the roof? And are the hinges supposed to be coach bolted on? Cheers Dave

Hi all bit of a long shot but does anyone have the front roof section of the front hinged roof of a westy. Mines got a few cracks and missing bits on the inside. I could probably repair mine but not sure what it's supposed to look like Cheers Dave

Hi all Could anyone recommend a good way to get back to my OG paint. Currently using thinners and sanding but don't want to knacker the paint underneath. The green comes off with the thinners but it wont touch the white and grey primer underneath Cheers Dave

I've never balanced mine an never had any shaking at all no matter what speed I go an the old bus can cruise above motorway speeds fr a bit 8)
