    Selling it short?

That'll be the next plan. Just getting pics together. Going to test the water with 7k, as it has loads of bits with it. Cheers all for the advice.

    Selling it short?

Well they say money talks, and when it came down to it the neighbour wasn't intrested.

    Selling it short?

I had the same thoughts, while it's easy to get sentimental. My logical side says to sell it before we move, just didn't want to rip myself off by asking too little for it. I'm sure if I asked 1k for it, someone would collect it the same day!

    Selling it short?

The engine is in, but only to test it ie. No clutch, tinware exhaust, etc. I didn't want to install everything if the replacement engine was a dud. Bodywork is OK, but does need attention, some previous repairs are starting to show. After 4.5 years under a cover I thought it would be better...

    Selling it short?

Hi All, After some opinions on the following condrumdum. We are in the process of moving house, which will involve moving our Bay which has been laid up for the last 5 years. The big end went in it, so I sourced a replacement engine and have had that firing (but not running well). A...

Help finding a Kyham Classic Sleeper Awning

Thanks for the heads up, I was after the sleeper version though. I ordered from Lightening Leisure on Sunday evening, it arrived this morning, so I can 't fault the service there. Just got to check it over when I home now.

Help finding a Kyham Classic Sleeper Awning

Hi Guys, and Girls, I've come a bit unstuck sorting the summer holiday for the family. After doing some research I decided to purchase a Kyham Classic Sleeper driveaway awning, which I though was the hard part!! When I went to purchase one, Kyham have advised that they are out of stock until...

    Heater Levers

Make sure you get the right ones as they are different between LHD & RHD vehicles, as I found there are a lot more LHD units out there from imported vans. Have a look at my post here http://forum.earlybay.com/viewtopic.php?f=4&t=52159

    Heat exchangers...

Personally I'd still (and have) choose a original VW over an aftermarket part. Here's mine, the one on the left is before the modification. 100_1894

Accelerator linkage upgrade - as featured in recent C& B mag

That makes sense. Hadn't seen the LHD kits so couldn't compare. Thought I'd ask the question in case others are thinking the same. You've got some trick kit on your site, no doubt I'll be in touch as my project moves on.

    Heat exchangers...

You can fit Beetle ones, I have them on mine. I have pic's somewhere of the changes needed to the lever, just trying to find them as they are not online.

I may have this wrong, but why is there a £20 markup for the RHD model?

What have I done! Electrical help needed please!

You'll need to trace the length of that wire and check it for breaks/burns. When you shorted it, the whole wire would have heated up. If there was a weak spot in the insulation then it could have burnt through and be shorting elsewhere.

    Left hand heater leaver bracket?

Popped back to FBIVW this morning to see if they had any right hand drive levers, but they only have the stuff off imports in stock. So as I couldn't exchange my set, it was time to get the grinder out. An hour later and my left hooker levers are now converted.

    Does this look right?

Just checked mine and I have the same hole, nothing in it.

    Left hand heater leaver bracket?

Hi all, The saga of campervan renovation continues! I have fitted new heater levers to try and re-instate the ventilation system. After fitting them, they don't seem to be right. Should the fresh air (blue) levers be on the left, and the ones that control the heat exchanges on the...

Tearing my hair out removing Hazard switch!

Well a little tease with the pliers and it's out. I can crack on with dash now.

Tearing my hair out removing Hazard switch!

Thanks, a picture is a thousand words! Now I have confirmation that the shaft comes out with the knob, I'll get a pair of pliers on it to see if I can persuade it to move. Looking at some dashboard pic's, it seems the hazard switch is in the right location (under the heater levers). It looks...
