Heat exchangers...

Hi,

Just a quick one,
Will beetle heat exchangers fit onto my 71 bay?
They look right, not too sure if the fitments will be correct though.....

They will but I believe you have to alter the cable opening closing set up , but im sure a kit is available

You can fit Beetle ones, I have them on mine. I have pic's somewhere of the changes needed to the lever, just trying to find them as they are not online.

beetle ones fit but aren't as "heaty" as bay ones, also the levers pull the opposite way to turn on and off.

Personally I'd still (and have) choose a original VW over an aftermarket part. Here's mine, the one on the left is before the modification.
