    Hey brad, I have a csp conversion on my 69 but kept finding that on journeys I had to pump the brakes as on the first push it went to the floor. On consulting my local vw guru he said I needed to fit a late bay compensator valve in the system, so that's what we did and now the brakes are spot on !

    i know how you feel dave, i've tried fitting the trims before putting the windows in and failed ( even with two helpers ). so have fitted all the glass without trims and am now leaving the trim fitting to another day or even better until i come accross someone who's an expert in this field. ;)

    hi all, at the risk of sounding a bit thick, could anyone out there tell me the correct way these rubbers should lay when the engine on an early bayis fitted ? what i'm actually asking is :- as the rubbers have two flaps, should one sit beneath the tinware and the other above ?
