Many thanks for the advice and info. I had already fitted the new pump with the shortened rod that was supplied with the kit. I will keep the original one as a back up. Having to work out the wiring now, I think I have it all figured in my head.

A visit to Beaulieu for the 1st Simply VW event July. It was only a tenner to stay over night, will be doing this again next year...

It is a lovely feeling when the bus passes the MOT, and then the tax renewal at £0.00, all in all £65. Sweet.

Two lovely Earlybays. High or low, to me they both look great and like all Earlybays, they obviously have a lot of time and energy spent on them to keep them in such lovely condition. Love the photo's.

Have a problem with one of my headlights, drivers side (LHD), the main bean doesn't work. Everything seems to point to the flasher unit, not sure about this, but will look further at the weekend.
