    Spot the bodge....

This bus is currently on eBay, described as “beautiful condition” but clearly the vendor is either clueless or smoking something. So, as a bit of fun, see what you can find wrong with it. So far I’ve got: Wrong front panel Front panel full of filler Near side sill full of filler Sliding door...

Has anyone got the Fellows Speed Shop front disc conversion, it's a bit more expensive than the CSP kit but the spec is better. Is anyone running the Fellows and can tell me what it's like?

    Favourite film.

So, I've got loads of films I love: Shawshank Redemption, Lock Stock, Goodfellas, Layer Cake, Casino, Horrible Bosses, but my all-time favourite has to be Point Break, and has been since the first time I saw it all those years ago. It's got surfing, drama, chases, morality, ticks all boxes. So...

Booking Eurotunnel: as van or campervan?

So I'm looking at booking the Eurotunnel, use it for work regularly but have never taken the bus. Looking at the prices, booking on as a "van" works out over £50 cheaper than as a "campervan/motorhome" for the same dates! What do people book as and have you ever had it questioned? Really don't...

    Walkie talkies, anyone using them?

Hey y'all, Going on a European road trip in August with a mate and want to be able to talk from one bus to another, walkie talkies would be easier than phones and wouldn't cost anything, but are they any good? They would also be useful for the kids when they go off at the campisites on their own...

    Rusty Kampers, Kent, anyone used?

So, had to pop to Rusty Kampers in Kent earlier today to pick something up, didn't even know they existed. Met Matt and had a look at some of their work and it looked good, lots of metal going in and not filler, and the paint jobs seemed pretty decent. Has anyone used them recently and if so...

So, I'm running a 1641 with twin 36 Dellorto's and a SVDA distributor, but have picked up a 009 with Pertronix module with a Flame Thrower coil. Is it a simple enough switch? Any downsides? Any tips? All help appreciated.

One of many jobs on the winter to-do list is have my twin Dells re-built with new seals and gaskets. I thought Eurocarb would be a safe bet, any other recommendations and what should I expect to pay?

    Big engine: any downsides?

So, I'm toying with the idea of a bigger motor, something for all-round power and torque but still reliable. I've heard lots of good about big engines, but are there any downsides like reliability, weakness, etc?

    Steering box swap: easy?

My steering has more play than I'm comfortable with, I've been underneath when the steering wheel is being turned and the centre pin moves around a little so needs replacing, but I'm sure the steering box is past its best. I've bought a decent used one so want to swap them over, is it straight...
