    Big motors, who's packing what?

Hi. I have not got a servo (booster) fitted. No issues with locking at all.

    Big motors, who's packing what?

HI Daisybay I have upgraded the brakes to later bay discs and drums. Stopping power is excellent. The gearbox in mine is an 1800 box with 1600 fourth gear to give it a little bit more legs. The suspension is in very good condition and I have added Koni shocks up front. Mine is lowered all round...

    My '69 Single Cab

This is the result from the dyno a little over a week ago. Nice power curve and hasn't lost any power over 80,000kms on for the engine. Very happy.

vintage speed or side exit exhaust?

My single cab with the Vintage Speed superflow is a 2165cc with engle 110 cam, 45 dellortos, 044 round port heads, MSD ignition. It is a motor with around 80,000km on it now and produces peak power just over 4500rpm. Will run to 6000rpm happily. Just on 100hp at the wheels. 17.0 second quarter...

vintage speed or side exit exhaust?

I have 2 lowlights: one with a VS which I don't agree as being restrictive as the engine has the same performance that it had with a sidewinder style exhaust previously (checked performance by running 2/10 second quicker on the quarter mile: 17.0). The VS is excellent. The other lowie has the...

    69 Single

Looking good! Yes it is not practical so often to have it way way down with the roads that we have to navigate. Good compromise - don't want to tear the backside out of your engine.

    1970 Michigan Missile.

Nice specs on the engine. You will love the dellortos and the Vintage Speed exhaust performs well in all ways. Panchito heads a good choice also

    My '69 Single Cab

Hi. Sorry for a slow reply. Yes we did new coconut fibre under the seat covers. A quick restitch of the edge piping is a good idea prior to fitment. Thanks for your kind words

    My '69 Single Cab

Hi Sorry for not replying sooner. The seats were from TMI and fitted by a local upholsterer. Door cards from TMI also. I finally fitted a floor mat and the under seat mats that I had. Very happy with Just Kampers repro floor mat.

    My '69 Single Cab

Even took it out recently to give it a run down the 1/4 mile for the first time in 6 years. 17.0 at 123km/h which is a new PB. Not bad for 70,000km + on the engine now. Last time ran a bunch of 17.2 sec passes. Video below is of one of the passes. lnOmi1PJUXc

Where did that time go??? Well we got to the Valla VW Spectacular and it was fantastic. The single cab is driving beautifully and a real joy. Time for some pics of the finished product. Very proud of it and so thankful for the good friends who helped bring it to this level of finish.

    My '69 Single Cab

(Great kit by the way - really impressed) The front bumper and vent flaps installed also. I will get the rest done...
