In 2011 we purchased this at a visit to Stanford Hall:
After 15 months of restoring the usual culprits, bottom 9 inches of metal all round and various other things we ended up with this:
However at the time, I couldn't get the new front panel to fit and had to resort to cutting it down the middle:
So, lots of trips all over including France twice. But recently I had an unfortunate coming together with a VW Polo (keeping it in the family at least):
Whilst the damage wasn't too bad, I didn't want to bodge it with filler and knowing what I had to do to the panel, I decided to replace the whole thing again and fix a few other things I should have done first time round:
Inner top panel replaced:
Lower inner valance replaced:
So, working on filling in the high level indicators and fitting the lower panel at the moment. Will attack these when the weather allows. Pics to follow.
