My single cab with the Vintage Speed superflow is a 2165cc with engle 110 cam, 45 dellortos, 044 round port heads, MSD ignition.
It is a motor with around 80,000km on it now and produces peak power just over 4500rpm. Will run to 6000rpm happily. Just on 100hp at the wheels.
17.0 second quarter mile at 123km/h.
The vintage speed can work well on a mild performance motor in my opinion and experience.
Of interest also is a 2007cc motor that my engine builder runs in his beetle. 140hp at the wheels. Revs to 8000rpm with 48 IDAs. Runs a vintage speed exhaust.

I think the performance of the exhaust must vary depending on engine the parts used.
I.e. More suited to certain style heads than others etc, after all different engine parts go together better with certain other ones.
