    Front seat replacement options

Vote for Porsche from me, bus had Saab ones in it when we got it but they fitted horribly, and if you’re over 6ft really no room under steering wheel.

    Twin carbs, which ones?

Pressure output from mechanical pump will vary so you will need a pressure regulator as these carbs like to run at about 2.5psi. I run a mechanical pump with a malpassi pressure regulator. Some electric pumps can be set or give the correct pressure output so no need for regulator and less fuel...

    Air vent rain covers ?

Has anyone come up with a good solution for covering the engine air intakes to stop rain dropping into batteries etc? I know the front air vents can use cling film or similar which is what used to do on my dads old Land Rover. Our bus is parked on the street all year round and don’t tend to...

    Removing paint

I used some graffiti remover from Halfords and wire wool then tiny bits of the green nitromoors carefully which is more mild, didn’t go that far on ours as was so much filler and ended up replacing a lot of metal. As previous comments it takes a loooong time. Comes off a layer at a time, think...

1969 RHD Devon - I must be mad
