    hi again...my thoughts are to go with standard beam,dropped spindles,lower shocks and still keep my wide 5 steels but with lower profie tyres?? or do I need to go to 15" rims due to lowering?? will there be any benefit using a narrowed beam??

    Bit of further investigation and it looks to me that the front panel is 20mm to low and with this raised up should in turn close the gap up more!? afraid cant put any pics up at mo

    Trying to add pics taken on android phone but saying file is too large? Only doing one pic? I have reduced the resolution to min but a pic is still 100kb to big?

    No seals on at mo just a trial fit due to the chassis legs not touching the front clip

    Having just trial fitted the front doors I have found that there is an 11mm gap between the front panel and the door,all other gaps all round are 3\4mm..should all gaps be the same all around the front doors? The front has had new chassis legs,new front panel,new dog legs etc but not done...

    Tbh its all a bit confusing till I get some understanding on all the different ways and parts involved...having recently brought an abandoned project which is a mass of random parts and bare metal shell I can see this site being a god send..will post some pics at some point

    ok well least im not far off..can you have dropped spindles and keep the drum brakes? I agree a red9 would be nice but planning to buy bits as I can afford them...any easy way to tell what condition the steering box is in when its on the workshop floor and not on the vehicle?

    Hi there, new on here and having just brought my first vw.. a 69 Danbury im looking at making my own roll over jig,anybody got any dimensions for the jig or advice attaching the vehicle to the jig? regards
