Yeah, I had the same problem with a wolfsburg west brand one from JK's. Turned out to be a hairline crack on the bottom, completely split when removing it. Quick call to JK's and they sorted me a new one. Guessing it just got dammaged in the post. New one fitted with same seal and all is good...

there is no vw script in the middle of them. I dont really know alot about them just looking at the packaging they seem pretty old. like i said they never been used
