Hi all, I'm looking at buying 1/2" aluminium angle, pop rivet it the length of the van, fit the ply then gently fold it over to hold the ply in place? What do you think?

That's All Folks!!! The lower front panel and the repair to the cargo floor that i removed to replace the front top hat section is now in! All the welding is complete :D . Just shy of 5 months of evenings and weekends. Just 4 weeks now to get it prepped, painted and mot'd!! :?

Cheers guys. The things you're refuring to gninnam are called 'Cleco' clamps. They're designed to hold 2 panels together where you can't get standard clamps in. To use them you have to joggle the panels so one overlaps the other then drill through the panels. These holes can then be welded...

Iv'e now repaired the lower windscreen section. Originally i bought the 3 piece repair panel, but when i stripped the paint back some rust had tracked further than the panels covered. So, i bought a complete front section and used what i needed! Forgot to take a picture of the rot in place...

andys, just check you've bought the correct pedal. there's 2 types, 68-76 and 76-80. where about in Chester, i'm Penyffordd.

So while i was at the front end i closed in the inner front panel to A post on the n/s and fitted the cab floor section! I then got around to fitting the new battery trays. The n/s tray is an inverted o/s one. O/S N/S I then started tubbing the front inner wheel arch! Only a mild...

Well i didn't do the battery trays next! Instead i closed in the bottom of the A post's to the inner front panel and fitted the drivers cab floor! Then ran out of gas!!!! So off to the gas shop on the way home tonight.

More progress! I've now fitted the new wheel arch to the n/s rear after a couple of minor repairs to the tub including a new rear closing plate. I then repaired the box section next to the engine lid as i had done on the other side. And fitted the rear corner repair. Battery...

Cheers Camperdan, It was your thread that i took insperation from and keep returning to for tips. Once i had the n/s B post sorted i then had some issues fitting the passenger door. I had to pull the bottom of the A post from the new jacking point to get door to fit. Photos of the rear bulk...
