Something strange has happened. I was out bid with seconds to go but something must of gone wrong. My top bid was higher than the final amount it sold for. So I don't understand why I didn't win. Very very strange

Well i was but like you said there is probably nothing i can do about it. I wanted the crown and pinon from it. I have a Brazilian bus which runs reduction boxes but has a irs suspension set up. My box is knackered but due to the unique drive shaft set up the only real choice i have is to rebuild it. So now the search starts again. This could hold me up a while. There's no point in building my gutsy engine just for it to rev it's nuts off. Can i just add that if the winner is on this site i in know way blame him for the cock up. I convincede it's ebays mistake.

Even better! Just brought a box for 68 quid with a knackered reverse. My gearbox monkey says he can sort a good freeway flyer out of the two boxes. So another part of the puzzle slots into place
