17 inch wheels

As the title says how hard are they to fit.

On a slightly more serious note, what type of wheels are they? pcd, width, offset, size of tyre fitted?
It can be as simple as the first line or just not possible depending on the above measurements.

Ha ha guys I will post some pics later but they are oz wheel I think ofF a vw sharan

iirc a sharan is a 5x112 pcd - however you still need to know the width & offset because they will decide whether the wheel itself can be made to fit in the arches, the tyres will also make a difference but you may be able to fit narrower ones if the wheel fit is close.

ive got a set of 17's for mine. its all in the tyres. on the rear i aim to run 205 40 17 and on the front 165 40 17. both of which have a smaller diameter than a standard van wheel. more than 7j wide and et 30 you could come a cropper but sharan stuff is around et 40 so should go straight on. not sure how good they would look. i dont recall vw turning out a great sharan rim also the centre bore is smaller on a sharan so might not fit. the steels off my sharan wouldnt fit for me to roll my van round on
