It is with great regret that I am to start breaking my 1968 crew cab in blue next week. Every time I chop a piece of metal out there is more rust. The chassis is shot, rusted through at torsion tubes, and so it is not a viable option to restore, although I initially thought it was. I have thought long and hard and this has to be the decision. All is for sale except screen, gearbox and wheels. I know I will get crucified for its demise but this is not a resto project, honestly! Hopefully with its harvesting another crewie will hit the roads again.
