Unfortunatley due to buying a house i am having to sell my bay window.
I bought her over a year ago and used her until the MOT ran out in July. I than brought her off the road to have a new roof section due to rust and remove the devon pop top to fit a brand new Paris Beetles sunnroof.
The van has a 50's style diner interior, ford rs recaro front seats, an AT code gearbox with a good final ratio meaning she will cruise at 65-70 all day.
I have a 1776 engine with kadron carbs that needs fitting to her this has all new electrics bought from machine 7 with receipts and she needs the cab floor welding then shes ready to go.
She has the usual rust for a 41 year old but is solid!
She will need to be trailored away due to having no MOT and the engine needing to be fitted.
I have spent well over £3000 on this van in 12 months.
The engine and gearbox were over £2000 and the sunroof was over £600 not to mention all new CV joints, clutch cable, accelerator cable and engine electrics.
Taking into consideration what work needs to be done and the engine and gearbox combination i am looking for £5995 ono.

Hi,
Please can you guys advise me of how well i have priced this van. I have had a few emails but im unsure of what price i should be asking?
Thanks,
Josh

Hi Josh - you seem to have been very honest with your description but saying that it has "the usual rust", "needs to be trailored away", etc will turn most people off immediately for 6 grand - best bet is to post some good quality pictures of the good and bad bits which will give everyone a much better idea of what you have.

cheers
A
:D

Good pictures are the only way to guage the value with any accuracy at all :D

Thanks for the advice guys. I will take some good pictures of her at weekend.
Ive tried to be as honest as possible as i dont want to mess people around, honesty is best policy in my eyes.
Cheers,
Josh

Thanks for all the interest but van is staying in the family.
