Hello! - does anyone know how to remove the lock barrel from a sliding door handle? I've got a broken handle (with a key) that I would ideally like to replace with an intact handle (locked and without key - can't see a code on the square section) - my rather basic logic was to 'simply swap the barrels over - been scratching my head for ages now trying to see how the barrels come out - can't see any grub screws or similar - any ideas?

Miniscule grub screw fella just keep looking, the slider handles tend to fair worst of all from corosion so chances are its well hiden...

holding the handle in your hands tip to the left and the shaft towards you, the line of the handle sweeps along the horizontal plane then turns in towards you, follow that line for aprox another .25 in and bobs yer uncle

nice one! - scraped some crud away and finally spotted it (miniscule's the word) - thanks mate!
