Sadly I have to sell my pride and joy. Its an early bay window Westy camper that I personally sourced and imported from California back in 2007. This is not a project bus, it's UK registered, tax exempt and MOT'ed. This solid Westy is ready to go with complete camping kit. It has been completely mechanically overhauled with a recon gearbox and engine. An LPG gas conversion allows it to return 40mpg. Body
Great condition, solid throughout, although not original paint, it still shines and looks presentable. All the body lines are correct with the doors, and tailgate opening and shutting perfectly ... the same as when it left the factory. There are no hidden surprises with this dry California camper. I have personally been underneath to check every inch and put gallons of waxoyl anti rust treatment to keep it in perfect condition.

Camping Interior and Pop top
My van is ready to go camping from the moment you buy it! Included in this complete camping set up is a Kayham Awning with a breathable groundsheet bought last year. To go with this is a Just Kampers camp kitchen which adds a lot more space whilst camping. The pop-top is new , down below is the original rock and roll double bed . The original Westphalia camping interior is complete with coolbox, working electric sink, and sufficient storage and cupboards for long weekends away. It even has the rare sort after Westy camping stool and flyscreens.

Mechanics
My camper has been maintained to a very high standard and is ready to use. It has just completed a 1300mile road trip and is ready for more! The bus has a reconditioned 1600c engine which runs strong and clean, it has been upgraded with pertronix Electronic Ignition and an LPG conversion allowing it to return the equivalent of over 40mpg. . The gearbox and gearshift have been completely renewed making it very positive and a pleasure to drive. The brakes have been renewed and do their job faultlessly. Everything is working fine as you would expect from a nice original Westy that has been meticulously maintained. Its a dream to drive with everything feeling very tight and positive.
