VW Baywindow T2 1972 (crossover, pretty rare) Devon Moonraker RHD concertina pop top, walk through.

New white/cream trim, rear belts for 4, rock n roll bed, mint hammocks, bespoke birch interior with removable kitchen unit to give a huge amount of space when you need it. The units have curved edges which is an interesting detail. Lots of clever storage throughout. The flooring is floated and is a thick laminate not a cheap vinyl, matching carpet too. The van has been insulated with tri-ISO which is equivalent to 300 mm of rock wall, it's amazing state of the art stuff and really does the job.

Fully restored body beryl green/white top, It's had a new front end and cab floor including the rear panels and front wings (the correct early steps with lipped arch). It's had all the bottom half replaced right round including rear arches. It's been painted with old school cellulose so to give it a classic look. All the windows were out and re fitted with the proper vw rubbers not repo's. This was done about 3 months ago. Chassis is really good underneath all painted and wax oiled.

The poptop is the rare alloy one so is super strong and is of a lower profile. The concertina itself is in great condition with windows (again rare) the joints have gone on the windows and have been repaired but it's still good and great to have this type as it lets loads of light in and gives you views when your stood up!

Engine is 1600 bored to 1700 full rebuild so will get up to speed and cruise well.
It's had, new fuel pump, genuine VW carb rebuild, electronic ignition (but looks stock), new heat exchangers, full exhaust system, new clutch, leisure battery, belt, filters etc.. Oh just been tuned too and is running perfectly, no oil leaks. Engine went back in about 2 months ago

New brakes all round, as 72 has discs on the front so actually stops pretty well. Drives very well indeed, steering was refurbed, no wobbly steering wheel at any speed and no correction needed in a straight line!
New MOT and tax (tax exempt)

Really is a fantastic, solid camper that my wife, son and I (note baby seat doesn't come with the van!ha) sudden move forces sale.
Looking for £16000
